Louis DeBroux is a lifelong evangelist for the greatness of America, where the lowliest citizen can rise to great heights through hard work and determination. This is not dreamy idealism, but the story of his life. Starting work at age 11 (“officially” at age 15), Louis had been in the workforce for many years by the time he married at age 19, when he also started as a service assistant for a major industrial uniform company, quickly rising through the ranks to become a corporate troubleshooter. He was later recruited to be the Expediting Manager for a power generation engineering firm, where he worked for 20 years. In 2021, then-Senator Bruce Thompson hired Louis as his campaign chairman in his run for Labor Commissioner. After 17 months and 208,000 miles on the road, the campaign ended in a resounding victory. Initially serving in External Affairs, Louis was promoted to Chief of Staff at GDOL, where he now serves Commissioner Thompson and the people of Georgia.
